My wife and I had an image in our minds of our dream home in Black Mountain, North Carolina. We knew what we wanted and where we wanted to build. We had a friend who had worked with Todd Moss in building vacation homes at Wolf Laurel ski resort in North Carolina and recommended him to us. We gave Todd our rough plans for a European Chalet log cabin. He converted our plans into final building plans and away we went.

Todd was a pleasure to work with throughout the building process. He had many excellent ideas and recommendations and was very cooperative when we made changes. Todd is very experienced and has loyal sub-contractors working for him. His communication with us throughout the entire process was outstanding and he worked closely with us as we made changes and decisions.

My wife and I have worked with Todd for seven years. He has built four homes for us in that time. Todd pays strict attention to details incorporating his wealth of homebuilding knowledge while planning each home with us.

The first rental was the Tree House, only 400 square feet, but has everything required to make a couples retreat very comfortable.

The second home The Black Beary Cabin, 2650 square feet, is a master piece for engineering and design, three bedrooms two and a half bathrooms with a game room.

The third Rooster Ridge cabin, 1000 square feet, is two bedrooms, and two bathrooms. Rooster Ridge has an accommodating flow and cozy feel throughout the house.

The Cardinal Cottage, a guest house built for my in-laws, is 420 square feet. Todd was able to make two bedrooms, a full bath, living area and kitchen. The high ceilings make it look like a much larger space and very homey.

We are more than happy with Todd’s work ethic, honesty and willingness to adjust to our needs, he is the consummate professional. We expect that Todd will be building our downsized retirement home in the near future.
